• Your Inmarsat iSatPhone PRO comes complete with a modern voice-mail facility, which is enabled by default.
• However, you need to configure call forwarding ‘if not available/out of reach’ in order for incoming calls to be forwarded to your voicemail facility while you are for whatever reason not available.
• You can find this setting in your iSatPhone Pro’s menu options:
• Go down to “settings” and select “call settings”, scroll down to and select “call divert”, scroll down to and select “if out of reach/if busy” etc, then select “to voice mailbox”.
• (Your phone needs to be registered on the Inmarsat network in order to do this.)
• Having configured call forwarding, you will be automatically directed to a voice menu to record your voice mail message to play for people when you are not available…… just like your mobile or office phone.
• Switch you PRO off and try calling it from a land-line or mobile to check.
• Your phone automatically checks for voice-mails shortly after it has been switched on and registered on the network. It will also notify you of voicemails that arrive while you are connected to the network.
• If you have a new voice-mail, the voicemail icon will appear in the status bar at the top of the main screen and in Info. To listen to the message, hold down the #1 key on the keypad for a few seconds and your phone will automatically connect you to your Inmarsat voice-mail.
• Alternatively, you can dial the short code of 570.
• It is also possible to check your voice-mail from any normal phone by dialing + 870 772 001 899.
